Yeaah we should make big party about that. Cities Skylins II will be available on GeForce Now. And that’s great news, because it means you’ll be able to play CSII even on slower and older computers and also on MacOS. All you need is a computer with a good internet connection.
For a long time I was worried if CSII would be available or not on this cloud gaming platform on which I play games too. Anyway, this is great news after last week’s increase in requirements, because everyone can actually play the game this way.
❗ Actualized 25 of October 2023:
Now I’ve see Cities Skylines II in GeForce Now! (at 06:20 CEST) so now we should play on this platform. More informations how it works I will update recently.
Fist loaded Cities Skylines II in GeForce Now seems like everything is fine. So I’m starting building first city in Cities Skylines 2. New articles will be following on our news from CS2.
❗ Actualized 24 of October 2023:
GeForce Now was confirmed but for now 18:15 (shortly after the publication of the game) isn’t available here. We’re trying to find out more information. For now we are waiting for reply on Twitter. Stay tuned.
The question is how many people will play Cities Skylines II on GeForce Now and if there will be queues. I definitely recommend paying for GeForce Now because you won’t have a queue there (the question is whether it will be overloaded by the fact that everyone will want to play it).
Cities Skylines II itself isn’t the only strategy game coming to GeForce Now in October, the following games have also been announced:
- Star Trek: Infinite (release Oct. 12)
- War Hospital (release Oct. 26)
- Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition
- Surviving Mars
- Godlike Burger
- Station to Station
- Bad North: Jotunn Edition
- Yes, Your Grace
And as a reminder, here’s a list of a few strategy games that made it to GeForce Now in September:
- Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector
- These Doomed Isles
- 911 Operator
- Airborne Kingdom
