Maybe like me, you built a basket weaver and then started to wonder if you even had a willow. Today, let’s take a look at how to get a willow tree quickly and efficiently in Farthest Frontier.
The first thing you need to do is to find out if you have a willow tree on the map. I recommend looking at the pond/water and looking for the following icons…
… it is good to look at more icons like this at the same time. It makes perfect sense because you simply cannot make an infinite number of wicker baskets from one willow tree.
Once you have found a place where are enough willows, build a Forager shack near. If you do everything right, you will see something like this when you place it:
After that, you should get enough willow to make enough baskets. I would recommend having 2 places where you will get them and so be sure that you have enough. In case your warehouse gets overcrowded, build more basket makers.
What to do when there is no willow tree on the map, but…
…you still want to make wicker baskets? Then you need to rely on trading and trade willow with the traders that will come to you. I would recommend always buying the maximum number of them and hope it will last you until your next visit. Yes, it is more complicated, but still, you will be able to make baskets.
