Vanilla Minecraft is a basic game that you download from Minecraft.com. It consists of a base game and it is played most by players. You can be asking yourself right now if vanilla Minecraft is the same as Java? And the response is yes, they are the same.
However, in case you make some changes in the launcher (add mods,…), you can’t call it vanilla Minecraft. If you don’t like playing vanilla Minecraft, there is a Technic launcher where you can add mods to Minecraft.
Vanilla OpenTTD vs FIRS?
If you play OpenTTD, you can discover FIRS which changes the vanilla game (industry) to a more complex industry. It means you play the base game when you play OpenTTD vanilla. And if you play modded OpenTTD or FIRS mode in OpenTTD, that’s not vanilla.
